I'm a Grandma!

I became a grandma for the first time this week - Tuesday, October 26th. My daughter gave birth to Arli Rae, who is 7 pounds and 2 ounces and 20 inches long. She is a beautiful, pink healthy-looking baby.

I am ready for this new phase in my life. I feel that I have a lot to offer as a grandma.

We drove two hours to visit the new family in the hospital, and I realized halfway there that I forgot my camera! Luckily the hospital gift shop had some disposable ones, and I'm hoping the photos I took will be keepers. But if they're not, the other grandma and my son-in-law took some great shots, too.
