You Don't Want to LOSE Weight!
Yes, you can let go of weight with hypnosis. And no, it's not as simple as coming into the office, being hypnotized, and walking out with the magic bullet.
Weight gain is an interesting issue, and not a physical one. Sure, it FEELS like a physical issue when you look down at yourself and see all those rolls and flab in the worst places, and when you feel it jiggling when you walk or run. But still, that is only the outward manifestation of something that has been going on too long on an internal level.
Eating too much comes from some kind of a feeling of lack. I don't know what that lack is, for you; for me, it might be comfort, or boredom (lack of a new or creative idea). Eating the wrong things can be lack combined with apathy, depression, low self esteem, or even ignorance.
The words we use make a big difference, too. That is why I will seldom use the word "lose" when talking about weight reduction. What happens when we "lose" something? We feel a lack! Imagine losing $50! Imagine losing your mate!
So I will say things like, "let go of", or "release", or something similar. I do not want to propose to your subconscious mind that by getting the shape you want, you will have to "lose" something. And neither should you; when you talk to yourself about getting rid of extra weight, you may want to change the internal messages to something more positive.
Weigh reduction is about changing the ways you talk to yourself about your body. It is also finding out what you're lacking, and filling that lack in a more beneficial way. And finally, it is about letting go of perfection. You are who you are, and perfection is never the goal. All that goal does is drive you to a vicious cycle of trying and failing.
You CAN let go of weight and have the shape you desire. It may not happen overnight, but if you look for what is causing the lack, and explore different ways of filling that lack, it WILL happen.
